April mechanical development ups and downs

April mechanical development ups and downs Construction Machinery

In April, the output of electric forklifts increased by a maximum of 42.3% year-on-year; the year-on-year growth rate of excavator production increased from a negative growth in the first quarter to a positive growth. The year-on-year growth rate was 10.3%; the crane growth rate remained stable at 10.4%; After the rapid growth in February, the output of shovel transportation machinery fell, which was a year-on-year decline of 17.2%; the output of compaction machinery continued to decline, and the decline rate was larger than the first quarter, reaching 82.0%.

Agricultural machinery

In April, the output of tractors grew rapidly, with large and medium-sized tractors growing by 43.5% year-on-year, medium-sized tractors up 45.2%, and small-scale tractors up 27.0%. The output of other agricultural machinery declined. Among them, output of crop harvesting machinery fell 42.1% year-on-year, and cotton processing machinery fell 38.0% year-on-year.

Other machinery

The month-on-year change in machine tool tooling was up 1.6% and 7.0% year-over-year as compared with the year for metal cutting machine tools and metal forming machine tools, while the number of CNC machine tools fell by 3.5% year-on-year. The monthly production of non-automated car-delivery equipment decreased year-on-year, of which the output of railway locomotives and railway passenger cars fell 35.8% and 20.6% year-on-year, respectively. Among the petrochemical, metallurgical and mining equipment, the output of metal smelting equipment increased by 41.9% year-on-year, while the output of wind turbines with the largest decline fell by 48.9% year-on-year. The output of energy-saving and environmental protection and other special equipment generally declined year-on-year, of which only packaging-specific equipment and cement-specific equipment increased by 21.4% and 34.9% respectively year-on-year. Among the metal products, the output of steel strands increased the most, which was a 38.7% year-on-year increase.

Monthly output of general machinery and basic parts showed an overall growth trend, individual machinery dropped sharply year-on-year, and rolling bearings fell by 78.6% year-on-year.
