On August 31st, Keppel FELS delivered the third KFELS Super B-class jack-up rig for transocean, Transocean Ao Thai, on time, on budget and with zero lost hours. The platform has been leased by Chevron and will operate in the Thai waters.
The KFELS Super Class B jack-up rig features a larger shovel-shaped tank design that can be used in more locations, especially in soft soil-based areas. The drilling system of the drilling platform is capable of simultaneously drilling and preparing the drill pipe.
