Extraction can be molybdenum, copper from the sulfuric acid medium with KeleX100. As you can see from the picture below. Balanced pH = 2.0 within a range of 0.5 molybdenum extracted priority, and as the pH is increased to balance 4, copper is preferentially extracted

When the equilibrium pH is 0.5 , the separation coefficient of Mo/Cu increases as the contact time increases. In order to better separate copper, the organic phase of the load is 150 ~ 200g /LH 2 SO 4 wash away copper. After removing copper, the molybdenum was back extracted with NaOH to obtain a Na 2 MoO 4 solution.

The results of extracting molybdenum with TBP and TOPO under different conditions are shown in the table below. It can be seen from the table that the effect of extracting molybdenum from a higher concentration hydrochloric acid solution with TOPO is best.
