Subsidiaries: August sales of Chery sedan topped in January-August

In terms of branch companies, Chery Automobile, Geely Automobile, BYD, Shanghai Automotive, Great Wall Motor, Changan Automobile, and Tianjin FAW, the top seven companies selling autonomous cars, have sales of more than 10,000 cars in August; The sales volume exceeds 100,000 vehicles, which is much higher than other companies.



Chery sold 30,400 cars in August this year, a slight drop of 0.5% year-on-year, and sales of cars in its own brand enterprises were the highest. From January to August, its sales of cars decreased by 9.7% year-on-year to 259,800 units, which was only lower than that of Geely Automobile; in the same period last year, the number of sedan sales was 287,600, which was higher than that of other self-owned brands.



In August of this year, the sales volume of Geely's sedan increased by 5.2% year-on-year to 29,200 units, which is only 1,211 units lower than that of the Chery sedan. From January to August this year, Geely's car sales increased by 3.2% year-on-year to 276,400 units, which is not only higher than BYD's sedan sales but also higher than that of Chery's sedan sales.

BYD ranked third in sales of cars in August and August and August this year. BYD's sales of cars in August increased 12.6% year-on-year to 25,200 units. In terms of sub-models, in August this year, the top ten models of self-owned sedan sales were BYD F3 sedan, Emgrand EC7, Great Wall C30, Chery QQ, FAW Xiali, Chery Fengyun 2 hatchback, BYD L3 sedan, Roewe 350, and Southeast Lingyue. And Chery E5. Among the top ten models, the number of A-class vehicles is the majority. The F3 sedan and Emgrand EC7 sold over 10,000 vehicles in August this year, with 11.2 million units and 1.02 million units respectively. This was the best-selling sedan of the auto brand this month.





From January to August, the top ten models of self-owned cars were Xiali, F3 sedan, QQ, Great Wall C30, Dihao EC7, Benben mini, Ling Yue, L3 sedan, Beidouxing and Baojun 630. Among them, in the first eight months, only Xiali sold more than 100,000 vehicles, reaching 101,600 vehicles, but compared with the same period of last year, there was a drop of about 20% (20.6%).

F3 sedan, QQ, Great Wall C30 and Emgrand EC7 have sold between 80,000 and 90,000 vehicles in January-August this year. Among them, Dorsett EC7 sales increased 30.5% year-on-year, while sales of other three models have experienced double-digit declines.

The sales of other autonomous cars from January to August this year were all below 50,000. Among them, the joint-venture brand Baojun 630, which was listed in August last year, sold 43,100 vehicles in January-August this year, ranking tenth in sales of its own-brand cars.
