The axial force of the water pump is too large, the shaft turbulence increases, the impeller is displaced in the axial direction, it is easy to hit the surrounding shell, and then it is damaged in the high-speed friction, then the axial force needs to be balanced.

1. Open the rear cover of the balance hole pump and drill a few holes near the hub. The outer diameter of the seal ring is equal to the outer diameter of the suction inlet of the impeller. When the pump is working, add a seal on the rear cover. The liquid in the rear cover seal ring communicates with the suction inlet, and its pressure is similar to the suction inlet pressure. The area of ​​the outer rear cover of the sealing ring is equal to the area of ​​the front outer cover of the suction inlet, so that the total force of the pressure of the dispensed liquid on the front and rear cover plates is substantially the same, and the less partially unbalanced axial force is borne by the bearing. Under normal circumstances, the effect of balancing the axial force is better. Its characteristics are more leakage, the liquid through the balance hole interferes with the normal flow of the inlet liquid of the impeller, so that the efficiency of the centrifugal pump is reduced by about 2-5%, and it is only suitable for a small single-stage centrifugal pump.

2, the use of balanced pipe This method is basically the same as opening the balance hole. The liquid in the sealed space is introduced into the inlet of the pump by using a balance pipe, and an opening is provided at the corresponding position on the rear cover of the impeller and the suction inlet. This part of the hydraulic pressure and the inlet pressure balance, so that the axial force is balanced, this device requires the balance tube over flow area should be equal to or greater than the mouth of the ring clearance area 4-5 times.

3. A few radial ribs are symmetrically arranged on the opposite side of the rear cover plate of the balanced blade impeller. The ribs rotate the liquid on the back of the blade like a pump blade, as the impeller rotates. The centrifugal force increases, so that the pressure on the back of the blade is significantly reduced, so that the pressure on both sides of the impeller reaches equilibrium, and the balance level depends on the size of the balancing blade and the clearance between the blade and the pump body. The disadvantage is the reduced pump efficiency.

4. Single-stage centrifugal pumps with double-suction impeller flow rate or impellers with double-sided inlet water on a few multi-stage centrifugal pumps. However, due to the fact that it is difficult for the manufacturer to make the geometry of the flow-through components on both sides of the pump exactly the same, the axial thrust is balanced by its own operating conditions. Therefore, there is still a small axial force acting on the rotor. Therefore, it is supported by a single row of radial ball bearings at one end of the pump shaft.
