·Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Promoting the integration of "Internet + SMEs"

On May 5th, at the “2015 SME Information Service Information Conference” held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, many Internet companies such as Alibaba, Baidu and China Net Library became guests. On the same day, seven Internet-related companies, including Beijing Digital, signed a cooperation agreement with local governments to promote the development of SMEs.
"Internet companies and local governments can help solve the development bottlenecks of local SME financing, market, technology, talent training, etc., which will become a new trend of local economic development." Industrial layout of the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Chen Yao, director of the Regional Economic Research Office, told reporters in the 21st Century Business Herald that small and medium-sized enterprises relying on Internet resources to become bigger and stronger are a new growth point for regional economic transformation and upgrading and cultivating innovation power.
"In the face of the 40 million large-scale SMEs in the country plus some individual and private economy, only through advanced Internet technology, through information technology, more small and medium-sized enterprises can be facilitated, including consulting, training, and information technology. Service and business.” Wang Liming, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that one of the four contents of “Internet +” is to vigorously promote “Internet + SMEs”.
Zheng Hao, Director of the SMEs Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced at the press conference on May 5th that in 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will start with three key areas, such as promoting smart manufacturing, implementing the "Internet +" action plan, and building a platform for mass entrepreneurship and innovation. Internet and information technology cracking constraints on the development of SMEs.
Among them, the first place is to implement the "Made in China 2025", with the support of the industrial Internet and independent controllable hardware and software products, develop smart equipment and promote smart manufacturing. Guide and support SMEs to participate in the industrial chain, create an innovation chain, promote the intelligent and networked manufacturing process, and improve product quality and collaboration capabilities.
In the first quarter of this year, the regional economic growth rate generally slowed down, especially the decline of the dominant industrial economy, which is an important reason for promoting local governments to actively engage with Internet companies. In the first quarter of this year, due to the decline of traditional industries, the economic growth rate of 26 provinces was lower than the same period last year.
“Local governments have the power to seize the opportunity of development with the help of 'Internet +'.” Chen Yao said that while enterprises are the micro-subjects supporting the regional economy, a large number of SMEs with insufficient development have become the main support targets.
At present, SMEs are the largest and most innovative enterprise group in China, and they play an irreplaceable role in promoting economic growth, promoting innovation, increasing tax revenue, absorbing employment, and improving people's livelihood. In this context, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has also supported the development of SMEs as the top priority this year.
A person involved in the drafting of "Made in China 2025" told reporters that the plan is just around the corner. As the first long-term plan for the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry, the plan has given relevant policy support to the development of SMEs, and is deepening reforms. In the background, the plan emphasizes the reform of the institutional mechanism to break the development of SMEs.
