The "Report" pointed out that "good coal with a good furnace" is a good idea for civil coal combustion pollution control, and we should vigorously promote the practice. In recent years, with the increasing awareness of residents for energy conservation and environmental protection, the demand for energy-saving and environmentally-friendly stoves has increased and the industry has also developed rapidly. However, there are still problems such as market instability, increasing technical needs, lack of top-level planning and imperfect standards, which affect the healthy and rapid development of the industry.

"Good coal with stove" is widely recognized

A large number of low-efficiency stoves and self-made heating facilities in the rural areas and the use of poor quality bulk coal heating are one of the major causes of atmospheric pollution in winter.

According to the "Report" data, of the 160 million rural households in China, about 93 million have adopted decentralized heating, of which coal-fired heating is about 66 million, and the amount of loose coal used is about 200 million tons each year. In this regard, experts believe that the burning of coal in rural areas is one of the major air pollution sources.

At the same time, among scattered rural heating users, energy-saving and environmental-friendly stoves (thermal performance and atmospheric pollutant emission standards are in compliance with the relevant standards for civilian stoves) have a low penetration, accounting for only 23%, and nearly 80% of residents use inefficient stoves and fuels. According to industry sources, a large number of low-efficiency stoves and self-made heating facilities in rural areas and heating with poor-quality bulk coal are one of the main causes of atmospheric pollution in the northern regions in winter. Saving energy and environmental protection stove production and sales booming

The market has great potential; the overall strength of the industry has been greatly improved; large-scale enterprises have increased investment in process and equipment renewal; and are actively exploring technological innovations.

"Report" shows that the national heating stove market capacity of about 186 million units, China's commercial heating stove market is currently about 120 million units, of which only 23% of energy-saving environmental protection stoves. At the same time, the number of heating stoves that users need to replace each year exceeds 10 million units. In this regard, industry insiders predict that the domestic market for energy-saving and environmental protection stoves has great potential.

For example, many companies introduced advanced equipment such as heat exchange tube mills, four-column hydraulic presses, numerical control cutting, and laser cutting to achieve safe and efficient production, improve the accuracy of blanking, and save costs. Large-scale enterprises have also begun to pay attention to cleaner production, and most have introduced and installed paint drying lines.

Lack of system design planning guidance

There are many “workshop-style” stove manufacturers that produce “three-nothing” products, affecting the formal market; the production and sales of stoves lack the guidance and supervision basis of authoritative standards; they have not been incorporated into the national unified “Energy Efficiency Label” certification management system.

Industry sources said that despite the steady and rapid development of the energy-saving and environmental-friendly stove industry in recent years, there are still problems that require further research and development, lack of unified planning, and imperfect standards.

In addition to registered stove manufacturers, there are still many “workshop” stove manufacturers that produce “three nos” products. The impact of such products on the formal market cannot be underestimated.

In addition, the analysis of the "Report" pointed out that the heating stove industry lacks guidance for development planning at the national level. Energy-saving and environmental-friendly stoves are the livelihood products of rural areas and small towns. Solving the problem of energy waste and air pollution caused by decentralized heating in these areas is a systematic project involving many factors such as stoves, fuels, building energy conservation, and user habits. Include relevant development plans at the national level.

It is understood that there is no unified standard for testing pollutants emitted from heating stoves. “The national standard for domestic coal-burning stoves is not perfect, and the relevant departments do not have a unified understanding of the test methods for the discharge of pollutants from stoves. The lack of authoritative standards and supervision basis for the production and sale of stoves has seriously affected the market promotion of stoves.” .

In addition, as an energy-consuming product, energy-saving and environmental-friendly stoves are not currently included in the national unified “Energy Efficiency Labeling” certification management system. Due to the lack of authoritative management of product performance marks, many companies randomly posted “energy saving and environmental protection” labels on the stoves, which misled the consumers and was not conducive to the healthy and orderly development of the stove industry.

According to reports, the China Rural Energy Industry Association’s Energy-Saving Appliances Professional Committee put forward the “Energy Efficiency Improvement for Civil Stoves (2016~2018)” based on the development needs of the industry, through energy-saving and environmentally-friendly stove technology upgrades, standards improvement, energy efficiency classification, and industry advocacy. , Capacity enhancement and other work aims to substantially promote the development of the industry and provide solutions for civil coal combustion pollution control.

The "plan" made it clear that by the end of 2018, cumulatively promoting 10 million sets of energy-saving and environmental-friendly stoves, the average thermal efficiency of stoves will increase by 5 percentage points, and about 2.5 million tons of standard coal will be saved each year.

This year, the related companies of the Committee of Energy-saving Stoves and China Stoves Net, with the support of relevant government departments and the China Rural Energy Industry Association, chose Hebei Province and other places to launch a pilot demonstration of "Clean Fuel Energy-Saving Stoves". Through the testing of new and old products, we will make energy-saving and environmental protection assessments. On the basis of pilot demonstrations, we will sum up experience and expand the scope of project promotion and application.
